Want to heat and bend a bolt handle. Not sure if MIM...

Love my T/C Compass in 6.5CR, except for one thing. The bolt handle curves aft and too frequently smacks my trigger hand during recoil. I see no reason for the backward sweep other than "looks".

I can't tell if the handle is MIM. The knob bears circular patterns at the end suggesting turning. The very center circle might be the pour point. Three grooves pressed into the knob have very soft radius's suggesting it was molded.

Assuming it is MIM, does anyone know if MIM can be heated cherry and bent?

ETA: Had searched fruitlessly prior to posting. Since posting I have found the answer. Yes it can be heated to orange and bent.
