Default Utah Non Resident Permit Question

I'm going to Vegas in the fall and I'd like to be able to carry while I'm there and be covered along the way. I had a Utah non res permit awhile ago, but it expired about 5 years ago. I never got the renewal as I had moved from the address I had listed on it and didn't realize it was expired till it was well past. I'm assuming I'll have to reapply instead of renew. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Also what happened to all the Utah permit classes? Seemed like there was multiple groups going around the state doing these classes years back, but not so much anymore.

Anyone ever taken a class at the Keystone Shooting Center? Do you need to be a member to take a class? They have a Utah permit class coming up.

Look into Arizona as well, they will cover you for Nevada, too. And they'll accept a DD-214 and other forms of training such as a Hunter Safety course.
