Consider the fact that these guns are estate guns, not items that have been sitting on a sale rack for two years. Some of these pieces have not seen daylight since being shipped home from Europe in WW2, or put up on the attic since grandpa died. At my auction, you have a legitimate chance to own such a treasure at a fair price, with no strings attached. There are no reserve prices, no minimum bids, no internet (shill) bidding. The highest bid wins it, regardless of price. The same goes with the hundreds of lots of ammo and everything else that is in the sale. You can be sure of it, there are bargains and surprises.
We are a small, family run operation that has survived on hard work and quality service. Nobody is getting rich off a transfer fee and buyers premium after our (many) bills are paid. To be honest, the majority of the firearms we sell go to FFL holders, which should give you the idea that there is still plenty of value left in the item. As we often say, don't think of what you are spending, think of how much you are saving! Keep an eye on the photographs on the website as I will be updating them right up to auction day. Let the quality of the merchandise and the value built into the lots be your guide as to whether you would like to attend or not. We will do our very best to ensure you have a positive experience at our gallery.
I have a few questions on the auction,if you will answer them . Does the seller of the firearms get the full sales price and why does the buyer pay a seperate transfer fee on each gun?

FFL's buying stuff at auction means nothing, they will cheerfully pay well over retail all day long at Horst's.

I've bought several estate collections over the years , and a few collections from people who suddenly found themselves ineligible to own firearms. I kept what I wanted and sold the rest. I've taken quite a few to Alderfer's , and they misrepresented them so bad , but even after taking their 20% consignment fee , I received more than I could have ethically asked for and maintain my self-respect.
    I don't speak English , I talk American!

The WW1 1911 is a Colt, no other info other than it is from an estate outside of Philly. It comes with everything pictured. The double skull ring, in my opinion is not a Nazi ring, but it is very well made and I've not seen another like it.
Keep an eye on the photos this week as I have been boxing ammo all week and will add updated pics of the lots. It is a LOT of ammo (maybe the most we've sold at one time), seriously, you wont believe the amount of ammo we will be selling in HUGE lots. Any other questions, please ask. Best, E.

Thanks for the reply. Some friends and I were trying to figure out why a ring like that would be in a quality collection. We also ruled out Nazi.
