I run them on plinker Ar-15's and 22's. Probly have 2 or 3 laying around.

I was thinking more like 6x, but I'm an iron sights shooter and I'm not sure if 4x is going to be sufficient for my kid at 100 yards.
I recently bought a Leopold Rimfire scope for my 10/22 LVT. https://www.leupold.com/scopes/rifle...rimfire-3-9x40.

It's slightly different than the model you referenced, at a similar price. An excellent scope. I got it after looking at a number of reviews on Rimfire Central website, which has a lot of dedicated 10/22 owners.

By the way: .22 rimfire is cheap again. For the first time in ten years, I'm buying again. Bulk online when on sale with free shipping.

Weaver is reportedly getting out of the scope business and a lot of excellent scopes are on sale. This classic is a great value at $100.

I bought one a few months ago at the regular price for my boyhoood Marlin 80 (which still shoots lasers) and it is a fine scope.

This is the post I've been waiting for. Found that scope on sale for $200 and ordered it. Thank you.

As far as ammo goes, there should be 5k of cci standard velocity waiting for me on my porch after work today.

Also, what rings? I know 1" but what profile would be suitable?

The SV shoots great in most 10/22s. Hope you got the order in time to grab the rebate that just ended last week.

I went with the Burris Signature Zee rings, medium profile. They're good rings, hold tight, and aren't heavy and clunky.

Athlon Talos is s good choice for a 22 if shooting longer range.
