    Not true. Firearms prices are fluid just like the antique market. I remember "Black guns" going for $2,000. Now you can't give them away.

    i don't believe in that kind of nonsense.

    My collectors items are guitars.

    My PRS Private stock Santana and my '52 Les Paul gold top haven't been in cases in years, they get played all the time and even at live shows.

    I think its a waste to own something so precious and never use it.

    Sell it and buy a reloading press if you don't already have one, reloading supplies or a bunch of ammo. Most shooters aren't skilled enough where the firearm is going to make a huge difference anyway. Most of the time you are paying for the name and how pretty it is, not accuracy. My most accurate rifle is worth about $300 on a good day. I would rather have fun shooting and build skill than have an expensive gun that I never shoot. I understand people who are collectors but that's not me.
