If you haven't found a sling yet and are looking for a quick adjustable one like most use on AR style rifles then these are excellent very affordable USA made options with free shipping.

I have two of the standard and am pretty happy with them.

Berncly <------ doesn't do budget slings.

My main SHTF rifle has a Vickers Blue Force tactical sling. Definitely Worth the $40.00 I paid.

I hate all the operator-approved slings. (well, there only seem to be TWO that are arfcom worthy)
    Too bulky for my tastes.

Fortunately, there are a multitude of slings to meet any needs.

The standard blue force tactical is pretty minimal.

From what I read the Marine Corps and Army just adopted it. Not sure which version though.

There a lot of versions of the Vtac from what I’ve seen some look cumbersome. The Proctor sling is also pretty minimalist and scores high as well as the Magpul MS3 which I had and wasn’t a fan of.

As far as AR15.com I’m not a member over there and not sure if I ever was.

Blue Force Gear sells the ULoop, which basically lets you attach a sling to anything. You can even customize one of their Vickers sling with it.

Cool. I was trying to think of what those were called/who sold them! A good, versatile option that isn't crazy-expensive.

I chose a Frank Proctor sling for my pistol because I wanted a sling, but didn't want the bulk. (the Paracord is a part of the sling system)
I'll probably use the same for any other pistol builds.
EDIT: Looks like they changed the ends slightly. Sling material may be different now too - hard to tell from the pic.

The Paracord loop ends offer endless possibilities for mounting in all sorts of ways. Saved me a bunch of money vs buying sling mounts.

I am curious about this myself.
People have been wrapping their suppressors with nylon and even their barrels sometimes (for some reason).
If the nylon doesn't burn away on the suppressor, will it hold with prolonged contact on a hot barrel?
Where are you seeing nylon on hot suppressors? They make heat resistant fabric but it isn’t nylon. People melt range bags and gun cases all the time on hot cans. Welding supply stores have heat resistant cloth for not burning down the house...burning down the house...
