Get yourself some grenade cartridges, then kiss it goodbye.

The landings can be brutal on the grenade adapter and this one in the pic is in amazing shape so it a show piece only.
The ones for firing can go an amazing distance esp with grenade cartridges..when you think about how heavy it is ...... ceremonial blanks , not so much obviously but still chucks them out

I have a 1942 91/41 Carcano , 1943 Rifle No.4 Mk1 Maltby arsenal , 1937 Tula Mosin Nagant and a 1937 Arisaka that my grandfather brought back from Okinawa. I only need a K98 Mauser and I’m done . Then I move on to the helmets ...I already have a 1936 Stahlhelm my other grandfather brought back from Europe. After the helmets are done ...on to the pistols .
Congrats got mine last year. Only shot it a few times. It was excellent you're going to love it. Just watch your thumb on the reload. Ill be going out next week with it and some new acquisitions. Just got a CMP 1911, and some other new pistols. Now I'm looking for a K98k, Lee Enfield SMLE, Carcano 91/38 6.5mm, and a Webley MK VI. Then ill be done.
