Public Range in Western PA - MD Visitor
A quick introduction, this is my first post in this forum. I live in Frederick MD but went to college at Grove City College in Western PA. I still have a lot of college buddies in that area and regularly visit them.
A friend of mine and his wife just had a baby and are looking at getting a handgun for home defense. I am planning on coming up in a week (Oct 17th-ish) and said I could bring a few of my firearms with me to let them get a feel of them. I would love to take them to a range and put some rounds through them as well.
So my question is, does anyone have recommendations for a good public range I (an experience shooter) can take a few guests (new shooters) and let them get a feel for shooting?
I found the state game lands are available, but have a restriction of 3 rds in mag for rifle and 6 rds for pistol. Obviously geared towards sighting in for hunting and moving kinda slow for just plinking.
Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Looking for something preferably between Pittsburgh and I-80 along I-79.
Thanks again!

Thanks fish and ALS. I was going to say the bullseye site is down.
The New Castle place sounds like it has good facilities. I'll give them a call and see what their public hours are.
Thanks again!
