Where do I re-new my CCW near Morgantown????

Hello all, I need to re-new my carry permit issued to me in Philly, I moved to Morgantown [Berks county] & just realized that it expired, I don't carry often but still want the option. Can anyone here tell me where I go to accomplish this? Thanks, Mick

If you live in Berks county you will have a much easier time getting your permit than Philly. Go to the Berks county sheriff web site and find out which is closest. Most folks seem to find the Reading airport satellite office more convenient than downtown, but there are other rotating locations if I remember correctly.

Reading airport remote office is hands down as easy as it gets. No line, pleasant atmosphere, in and out in about 15 minutes. On the third week of the month he also travels to other towns for a day and Birdsboro is one of them. However, those tend to get busy and 1) You'll have to wait and 2) The sheriff reports gathering information only and mailing the LTCF in a day or two. At Reading airport you'll walk out with it.

I second that emotion however I renewed downtown last year and walked out in 15 minutes as well.

I only have done the court house and it’s 15-20 minutes every time.

Unless I have a specific reason to go into Reading I renew at the Airport. It is much faster when you include parking and walking into the Court House. Also pay for parking downtown, unless you get really lucky.

I am so Happy that I moved out of Philly!!!

Yes sir Berks County Sheriff under Sheriff Weaknecht, really has their stuff together when it comes to LCTFs. The sheriff himself also seems like a good man from the interactions ie had with him at various events.

Unsure if things have changed since September but my old lady was issued her initial LTCF on the spot in less then 10 mins at the Birdsboro remote location.
