    Default Pittburgh City Council meeting...again

    I just talked to a member of council and was told that it might be a good idea for people to attend on Wednesday. Apparently, there will be a public comments period before they vote on this round of amendments.

    When we spoke at Dukes, I said the council meeting was today..I was thinking it was Wednesday. It's been one of those weeks already..

    Anyway, the council meeting is tomorrow Wednesday 27 March at 10:00.

    Like Robert said, the meeting starts at 10:00. I can't be there quite that early. I'll try to get there during my lunch break.

    10am...I hope the DA is there ready to arrest these un-constitutional asswipes! Probably not until the final vote in April I would guess??

    Pittsburgh’s controversial gun ban passed its first hurdle Wednesday with a 6-3 preliminary approval vote by City Council.Council members Darlene Harris, Theresa Kail-Smith and Anthony Coghill voted against the three bills, citing among other things a state law that prohibits municipalities from regulating firearms.Council is expected to schedule a final vote on all of the bills for Tuesday.
