.357 is pretty tame in a 6 inch N frame revolver.

yeap nothing wrong service stocks on a 357 in an N frame...just doesnt have the steam to move all that steel.
i think target stocks look and feel better on them, but the service stocks work just fine.. i have a 4" 28 with them on, also have a 6" 28 with the targets on it.it's only metal, we can out think it....
