Default My Form 1 Suppressor Builds

Back in October when E-File went live I started looking into the Form 1 suppressor game. So far I'm at 3 approvals and two completed builds.

9mm Build: 7.8" SDTA Option "B" Tube, SDTA End Caps, RSC baffles w/ Poor Mans DHC clipping. See Videos Below on my CZ Scorpion and Marlin 1894CST.

22LR Build: Diversified Titanium Select 1.125x6" 22LR Kit. Baffles are 2-SS Radials(.265 bore), 4-Ti Radials(.250 bore). Single Swoop .125" Clip.

300WM Build: 1.625x9.5" Tube with Flash cap and Griffin Taper Mount. All came as a package from Rusty's Services. Baffles are 3 SS-RSC, 5 Ti-RSC. All DHC Clipped and bored 13/32 on the first two baffles with the rest bored 25/64.

Got any pictures of the baffles? And I'm curious what tools you used for drilling/clipping. I have paperwork in for a DM 22 kit and a premium kit (will be for 9mm) and I'm still trying to gameplan how to actually put holes in them.

Depends on how tight you want the bores. The best answer is center drilling on a lathe, but you can centerfind, punch, and use a drill if you're willing to accept a bigger hole to ensure no bafflestrikes.

Here is some shots of the DM 22LR baffles. He includes the little square holder jig. I personally picked up a Harbor Freight Mini Mill for the cheap locally after my first(9mm build). Clipping here was done with a 1/8" end mill and is .125" deep.

Edit: For drilling the holes I use YG brand stub drills. They can be found on ToolHit and Ebay. Cutting oil I use is Tap Magic.

Did a little DIY Anodize this weekend on the two cans since I haven't fully committed to a coating.

    Nice job.
I'd toss them back in the vise and take a .060" deep and prob .060-.120" wide cut perpendicular to your original clip on each side.
That will be the double clip.

Thanks for the pics/info. I was looking at the mini-mill myself, just need to convince myself it's worth it. And nice work on the anodizing.

I'm familiar. That's what my 9mm can has. From all my research it provides no gains on 22LR

I basically stole mine. $200 and was only used one time. Did spend a touch more on some collets, vice, and some upgrades. Overall glad I got it. These quick turn around form 1s have become an addiction all their own
