Default Non resident AR Pistol at 2nd home in PA

I can't seem to find a definitive answer on this. Is it legal to built an AR pistol in PA. With a new lower that was bought from an FFL out of state as a striped lower and owned and stored it at a 2nd home. I have a non resident ccw in PA not sure if that helps.

You bought it, built it and own it in the house you own in PA?
You bought the lower receiver in a state where you own a home... Correct?

I ask because you can't buy a receiver out of state.
You have to live in the state. I assume you did or the dealer wouldn't sell it to you.

Can't think of any issues here. Could be an issue with your home state, but I don't know how they would have any clue about something you have in a different state.

Reciprical license or non resident license will help with transportation of said pistol, but doesn't have a bearing on keeping it at your residence.

Are you a resident of Pennsylvania? It sounds like you are not.

    More details please, OP.

ETA: Oops. Title has the details. Looks good to me but I defer to others.

AR pistols are legal in PA, that is all that matters.

sounds to me that it would be the same as if you bought a pistol in your home state.. and store it in your Pa. home.. if that's legal then I can not see why a lower (Turned in to a pistol )would be any different ????

I ask because i can’t buy a pistol in pa because in order to buy a pistol in pa you need to be a pa resident. Is that just a buying issue? Seems to me like if it’s legally purchased there’s no problem just seeing what you guys think.

There's some funky rules with buying, but if you own a home here I'm pretty sure you could purchase a gun here and keep it at your parents home. You can message Xringshooter on this forum for better details. He's an FFL and deals with quite a few people with dual residency.

As far as guns you already own, your fine. There's no requirement to register anything. No different than moving here from another state.

I would recommend getting the PA non-resident ltcf though. As long as you have a license/permit from your home state you should qualify.

It's been discussed here before. There is such a thing as I believe. Again get a hold of Xringshooter. He knows way more about it than I do, if it's something interesting to you.
