“Today the Court of Appeals told the ATF that it could not rush through the bump stock ban without meaningful judicial review,” said Caleb Kruckenberg, NCLA’s litigation counsel.

As in doing some research on the vegas shooting to see if the bumpstocks were even used?

The police report did not mention nor come to the conclusion the stocks were used, or
if the firearms in question were used, or if paddock was the shooter.

Jeez, nothing to see here, just move along

And you wonder why some people question these shooting events.

Id appreciate it (thanks UncleJumbo) if others find info and post it here for the rest to see. Im still home sick (flus is wrecking hell out of us here could use prayers) and between naps Im checking for current news but Im not totally lucid. Have noticed Im doing some things out of sequence. Like trying to repair a home phone and putting it all together and leaving all the screws holding the motherboard in place in the magnet bowl and not back in the phone. But Id swear I put them in.

Some reading to get up to speed and forward to friends, family etc. Make sure no one is caught unawares and gets strung up as an example.

The bump stock ban is just days away. What will owners do?

ATF instructions for destroying each specific type can be found here.
If you choose to "cut" it, it must be cut in specific areas designated by the red lines in the photos.

The bump stock must be completely severed in each area indicated by the red line.

Destroying a bump stock using any other method may be legally insufficient, such that continued possession of the device may violate 18 U.S.C. 922(o).
Under "other models", they have photos of a bunch I had not seen before.
Some pretty slick designs... some appear to be of the homemade variety - some look like near-exact copies of other mass produced units.

There are 58,000 residents in my township. Yesterday I checked with the police department evidence custodian. One has been turned in as of 3/21.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.
