Are people dumb enough to believe that one person, or one "organization" will be exempt, while the rest of the country is not?

I don't think it means they are exempt, it just means that for you and I we have until midnight to get rid of ours while a select few get the luxury of waiting a little bit longer.

What country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms!

Pretty much this. All those precious few have won for now is a stay. If the appeal goes through and is granted, then those precious few would be exempt.

It's going to be a bummer if the SCOTUS rules in our favor and yinz all have to go buy new bumpstocks, eh.

More substantial updates regarding Firearms Policy Foundation's bumpstock litigation at www.BumpstockCase.com. An Emergency Application to Stay has been filed with Chief Justice Roberts. Also, anyone considering surrendering their bumpstock should only do it under protest - https://blog.princelaw.com/2019/03/2...redemption-day. But, be ready for ATF to try to tell you that you MUST forfeit your rights (even though that's a lie) - https://www.washingtontimes.com/news...mp-stock-inven

That means that it's the US DOJ's position that ALL FPF MEMBERS are currently protected against the ATF's Bumpstock Ban Final Rule through the Court's stay order in our FPF/Guedes litigation!

This seems to simple/good to be true. Join FPF for a dollar? Am I missing something?

Nope, become a member, support the cause and protect your property! You can find the Emergency Application for a Stay that we filed and any orders that may issue related thereto here = https://www.supremecourt.gov/search....ic/18A964.html
