It isn’t over yet! Parties are working on this case RIGHT NOW, 10:34PM Sunday. Check bumpstockcase.com for up to the minute updates.

FPC is arguing that the stay should apply to all 540,000 owners of bumpstocks. BATFE is acting fucky fucky by trying now to say that bumpstocks were always machine guns, buyers were always felons, it’s just BATFE is now enforcing it. Phuck be upon them.

Give a listen here as FPC discusses their case @ the 23min mark:

Wait until they say that about other things they approved of... They don't need a bill or a law, they can just say "Oh, those things were always illegal..."

You should listen to the interview. The lawyer couldn’t believe what the government was saying. Oh and those ATF letters that came with bumpstocks (and Shockwave shotguns etc) aren’t worth the paper they are written on. They are not legal documents and have no bearing in court. Isn’t that lovely? Wonder what this would mean for the retailers that sold them in good faith? What a shit show

Well then I hope no one gets arrested with their unregistered SBR because they thought they bought a legal pistol that came with a pistol brace on it...

Paper-schmaper. Did anyone really NOT build pistols with braces just because a "paper" said that they couldn't be shouldered? HAHAHAHAHA.

Ban bump stocks - you may be effective at getting 20% of the ones in circulation destroyed - if you're lucky.
Ban pistol braces - well... good luck with that. There's about umpteen thousands more of them in circulation than there are bump stocks. Nobody's gonna destroy them - just toss them in a box on a shelf at best.

And yes, those photocopied approval letters that come with accessories are not worth anything to anyone a "legal cover". Anyone should already know that.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Just go down the list. Will buffer tubes be next, or aftermarket triggers or magazines in excess of 10 rounds? When will it stop? When all our gun parts are in boxes too?

    Nolo just posted this:
The gov just filed a response and concluded with this:

For these reasons, no modification or clarification of this Court’s order is required. This Court properly limited the relief granted to the named plaintiffs, which extends relief to the organizations and their bona fide members, not supporters or members of the general public.
