Why not the trigger safety? For the fuck lot of good it does, treat it like the child safe lighters with the little piece of metal over the wheel and just pop that sucker out of there and your good to go. .

    Or get a revolver.

I love my RM380. The trigger pull is really long, but it doesn't take much time to get used to it. The gun has been 100% reliable after over 500 rounds.

Also, my wife has a Ruger SP101 that is DAO. A set of Wolff springs reduced the pull to a very manageable, but safe result. Great gun, though a bit heavy.

You can always swap out the trigger and/or modify it.
But I think the trigger blade safety is a good thing to have on a gun.

Because it's the most absurd device ever touted as a safety feature?

It keeps the gun from firing when the trigger is depressed - until you depress the trigger. Wait. WHAT?

I used to think that until the Sig P320 debacle, then I began to wonder if it isn't more of a drop safety?

It's cool. No need to educate me, because I'm too old to change my ways - and I don't give a damn about a drop safety - a light trigger pull without a safety is not my idea of "perfection".

Sorry, OP - this is probably the beginning of the end of your thread. I apologize.

Look into a handgun with HK LEM, especially in the HK45 and USP series.

What about the kahr cm9 or pm9?
You can get them in 40 or 45 as well, but the 9mm is perfect for pocket carry
