    Default Manufacturing date/info?

Started clearing out my recently deceased fathers house and brought these home. Can anyone provide manufacturing dates?

The PPK is a 1941 pistol according to this list: http://www.tague.at/pistolen/en_index.htm

    No idea on the others.

P.S. Just actually read why you were asking... sorry about your Dad.

Anyone know anything about the S&W 639? I didn’t even know about that one. My brother took home a S&W .357, a Colt 1911 (US issue) and a Colt .22 SA. Wrong sub forum but we still have to divvy up:
    1903A3
    Garand
    M1 Carbine
    Winchester 94
    Winchester 1300
    Marlin .22
    JC Higgins .35

The 639 came out in 1984 and was discontinued in 1989. Does yours have a round or square trigger guard? The round trigger guard came first and S&W transitioned to the square-ish guard as they were tooling up for their 3rd gen semiautos.

My condolences to you on the loss of your father.
