    Default Tactical Rail for Revolvers?

I want a 44 mag for a sidearm when I am hunting and hiking. I like Ruger RedHawks, however, none of them have a tactical rail for me to mount a light on. It might sound silly, and even look ugly, but on the way to my hunting stand, a 44 Mag with a flashlight could come in handy. Are there any 44mag revolvers with a tac rail, or an aftermarket rail that would mount to a 44 mag? Thanks for your help.

Strange, I thought it was illegal to be in the woods armed during hours of darkness or at least before the legal hours for hunting? At least it might be limited to something like 1/2 hour before sunrise. Perhaps you'd be better off using one of the strap on head-lights. At least that way you won't be waving a .44 around to get your bearings.

My S&W 325 45 ACP has a removable tac rail. Never seen one on a conventional revolver before.

I’ve had my 45 cap with a tactical light on my side for several years for protection from bears. Having a 44 mag wouldn’t be any more or less legal... just more effective in the event of a bear attack.

I do use a headland as well. The gun would only be drawn if an animal decided to pose a threat (bear or coyote)

A quick Google search showed several with a rail.

Not true. A) You're allowed to have your hunting arms with you, just not fire a shot until legal hunting hours, B) a handgun carried strictly for self defense with a LTCF is not regulated by any game laws (or I guess more accurately, game laws allow it).

I did a google search and didn’t find any 44 mag revolvers with a tactical rail. I found plenty of pic rails for scope mountain, not for tactical rails
