    Default McDaniel Militia Act

    Just read this today.

"Any person who qualifies as a resident on August 28, 2019, and who does not own an AR-15 shall have one year to purchase an AR-15. Any resident qualifies as a resident after August 28, 2019, and does not own an AR-15 shall purchase an AR-15 no later than one year after qualifying as a resident."

    HB 1108

I’m sorry but this is simply ridiculous.

I love my AR-15’s, I want my kids to love them as well. I love showing my neighbors, friends, and family my AR’s how they work and handle if asked. I want everyone who wants to have an AR-15 to be able to go out and legally, affordably, and easily get an AR-15 at their local gun shop.

What I don’t want is more idiot politicians forcing anyone to do anything especially if it’s something you don’t want, need, or believe in even if it’s pro gun and AR15’s.

This is just as retarded and as much of a stunt as that Korean church of the AR15 up here in NE PA. Maybe I missed it but this bill has zero teeth because I do not see any penalties for those that refuse to purchase an AR-15.

Hypothetically if this were to be made law and was upheld by the courts those that refused to purchase would be made into hero’s further making gun owner look like retards.

I fully Support the McDaniel Militia act. Forcing residence to prepare to protect themselves is a good thing. Kennesaw Ga. has benefited by requiring every house hold to have a gun for the last 2 decades. Why not a whole state?
I always stressed to my son"one shot one kill that was all that is needed". When He came home from Marine Corp Boot camp He was telling me about the Marines stressing "ONE SHOT ONE KILL" He looks at me and the light bulb went on Dad was now a whole lot smarter than he was 13 weeks ago.

If government can force you to buy health insurance, why can't they force you to buy a rifle?

Kennesaw, GA has such a law? I thought that a town in TX tried that several years ago and it didn't hold water in the end.

You all know Congress mandated this in the beginning when it was muskets and balls.

    That's different. It's a tax that's not a tax. You wouldn't understand..

Maybe they can institute AR-15 Subsidies?
