Focus on shooting the pistol accurately. Proper trigger manipulation is only one aspect of mastery that is overcome with practice. The "trick" to mastering hammer and striker fired handguns is to practice with both types.
If you think striker fired is unpalatable, then you've never tried a light weight double action only revolver.

I definitely haven't ever tried one, only an older .357 once.
Gunna have to practice practice practice!

I never really understood the desire for long squishy staple gun triggers. But they sell them every day!

Because it's a safe design for a less than professional shooter. No thinking about disengaging a safety. And no 97 pound DA trigger pull (closer to a staple gun) for those who don't practice enough, sending rounds 20 feet off the intended target.

Here I thought it was cause they’re cheap and police departments buy the lowest price. People buy what police use.
