If you are quoting a large post but only replying to a small piece, you can trim out the excess before posting.

When very active threads get going there can be hundreds of posts from dozens of members in very short order. so your "I agree" to something you just read that's 40 minutes old means your reply is nowhere near what you're agreeing to, and could possibly post right after something you vehemently DISagree with.

Thank you. Yeah I am starting to see that. To all that have replied, thank you so much.

You probably weren't too far out of diapers when I enlisted, so I've got a few more years of that game under my belt. Be very careful what you wish for...

Another squid here. We had M-14's aboard my ship and had practice for ship boarding. Anyway, first choose a gun that you feel fits your hand and then take an NRA pistol course. Make sure you apply for your License To Carry a Firearm through your County Sheriff.

I did confirm that membership for CPRC is still open but was told it will be closing very soon. I don't want to rush you into a decision, but if you think you're leaning that way, feel free to PM me with your name. The membership secretary said he'd keep an eye out for your app if you decide to apply.

Adams County Sport Handgunners Association usually offers the NRA basic pistol course in the spring/early summer. I've taken the basic safety + the self defence in the home. They do a good job, have enough instructors and are very thorough. About 25 miles NE for you.

People will torture their sibling(s) mercilessly, but God help the outsider who tries to mess with their little brother.

    The services are the same.

Except the Marines. They just suck.
