Construction vehicle
They are building townhouses next to my house. They have been moving earth all year. They are now working on the edge of the property that runs next to mine. There is a street between mine and their property. I just went into the bathroom/laundry room. i happened to look out the window to see that the had just tipped over one of their big dump trucks. I think it is a t-25. They brought over a big shovel and up righted it.
The driver then gets in a just drove it away. He did this as the shovel held to up.
I guess those things are tougher then I had thought.
The lucky thing for them is the truck landed not six feet from a row of townhouses that is getting close to finished.troll Free. It's all in your mind.

Re: Construction vehicle
Mostly you need to let all the oil get back to the drain pan. The longer a vehicle isb't shiney side up, the longer it takes. Sometimes, on a gas motor one will need to remove the sparkplugs before cranking the motor to clear the oil out of the combusyion chamber. BTDT

It is hard to describe. The dump portion of the truck is on a swivel. The drive section never went over. The dump section was over the bank on its side.
I thought it was impressive.troll Free. It's all in your mind.

Sounds like an off road hauler that articulates behind the cab to steer.. They also swivel at that point too for just such an occurance. The cab can stay upright if the body rolls.

Re: Construction vehicle
Oh, yeah. You can drive the front end around, dragging the belly pan, without the back end attached. Pan Graders are the same style. They will manuever in lots of tight places. Some times the beds are dual dump, they can dump out the back or to the side.
