Recent trip to NC- notes for those who are planning a trip
My wife and i just got back from a trip from north Carolina.
I will never criticize current PA carry laws again.
If your planning on a trip to NC, be aware that no gun signs carry force of law, including hotels... so do your research and find out if the hotel you want to stay at has those signs, or remember the phrase... concealed means CONCEALEDLast edited by SIGFAN86; March 12th, 2019 at 11:46 AM.

Yep, some states are notorious for there large numbers of off-limits places.
PA is relatively easy-going for off-limits places. And for private property, trespass can be applied, but rarely is(which is why I preach to honor a property owner's signage so that it doesn't get incorporated into law).RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515

Ohio is another state that has a lot of prohibited places for carrying concealed. You can't carry in church unless the pastor gives you permission. You can carry concealed in a place that serves alcohol, but you can't drink any. Every medical facility I visited during my late father's illness had "NO GUNS" signs on the door. It got to the point where when I visit my brother in Ohio once I get to his house I don't bother carrying while I'm staying there because I don't know if any place we go will prohibit carrying a gun.

And don't forget that Ohio is a "shall notify" state as to any contact with law enforcement. If you're curious as to what that can lead to, put "Canton Ohio cop abuses concealed carry permit holder" into Bing or Google and watch the video of the Canton, Ohio cop who verbally abuses and threatens a concealed carry permit holder who is trying to comply with the notification law.

When I was in OBX, I didn't notice a single no carry allowed sign. Here I was thinking NC was great
