Like the Remora holsters gut probably not the best for inside a bag as it could slip out.
Sticks and stones will break my bones but hollow points expand on impact.

Your best defense will be with a gun you have not that you left at home. Baby steps. This gets it with me at least.

That's why I love the Remora holster. It's comfortable and SLIM. And if you're taking it off for long car trips, you don't have to fuss with your belt or holster. It's also good for putting it on the couch or coffee table next to you when at home because it keeps the trigger guard covered for safety.
But yes off-body isn't the best idea.
