Colt SP1 S/N 2601 with a Colt Scope built in the USA

My son found this SP1 for sale in another state and purchased it from the Gun Shop. It is a Colt SP1 S/N 2601 which makes it the 100th SP1 built in 1965.

It came with the Colt Scope and one Colt 20 round magazine.

Other then the handling marks on the outside everything else appears to be Mint to As New Condition. The bore looks AS New.

The scope is Colt and has cross hairs. It is built in the USA, not Japan.

He got a Very Very Great Deal on it. He asked me not to post the price. This SP1 is a keeper for him.

Awesome! I have S/N 920. And one of those scopes, too! Who knew I'd see another just like it so nearby.

Very nice !! I have a 1974 Mfg, with the Jap (tasco) exact make of the optic, Enjoy and keep. It is an heirloom gun. I picked mine up for $300.00 in 1983 a few days after getting out of the Corps

When I was 21 I got an FFL and I purchased a Colt SP1 for $169.00 dealer price. The serial number was just over 19K. For an additional $100.00 - $150.00 I could of gotten a Colt M16.
