I gathered this list using the Firearm Owners Against Crime ( https://foac-pac.org ) and the PA General Assembly ( https://www.legis.state.pa.us/ ) websites. The summaries are my simplified explanations and any mistakes are mine. The FOAC website includes other legislation that gun owners may be interested in- I tried to limit myself to firearms-specific legislation. I highly recommend you check out the FOAC website, and more importantly, become a member. Also, you may want to sign up for PA General Assembly updates at https://www.legis.state.pa.us/login/ There you can filter the updates that concern you.

The list is lengthy, but understand that, fortunately, most bills go to committees to die. We all know, however, that the main anti-gun action is now at the State level, so we must remain vigilant.

Thanks Mike, very good list. I hope everyone has been keeping track of these and everyone understands that some Like Cruz's HB 798 are very onerous.

The Commie in the Governor's Mansion, or his condo in Philly would sign every one of those.

Thanks for the update, Mike, I'll have to visit David Maloney and reassure him on how I stand on these things. He's been pretty good for our side thus far.

Given only the descriptions provided, and having not read the text, the 6 I quoted seem the only positive ones.

Actually, HB603 is a maybe. It is made moot by passage of HB456, and I don't care for special treatment laws, even if they benefit me.

Yes, there are a small number that seem positive, though I defer to FOAC’s recommendation. Hopefully they have reviewed them closely.

I don’t know if more pro-gun bills are necessarily a good thing. Would it give some legislators a reason to “compromise”? I’m really not sure.

Oh my God, I'm speechless! Hey, why don't we just make murder and bodily assault illegal no matter what means the perp uses and be done with it?
