    Default Star 28 DA

For those Spanish Pistol fans. AIM has Star 28 DA for $379. They were somewhat limited supply pistols - built to compete with Beretta 92 for a US contract back in the day I read? I have a model 30 - solid, heavy pistols for sure!!!

I have a Star 30M. It's a friggin' tank! Guntests magazine ran a 5000rd torture test using Israeli 'Black Tip' SMG ammo back in the early '90's when I bought mine.

They cleaned it and it shot tighter groups than when it was new.

They strike me as being a bit overpriced, closer to $300 sound right.

Only 1 for sale on GB - $599 - won't get it! Apparently only made for 2 years. "Rare" - lol, love when I see "rare" in GB ads ……………………….

Rare- when used in sales pitch = we want tons of money for it.

Rare in the gun maker's business world = Didn't sell, or has problems we had to fix and moved on to something better.

I've had positive experiences with both Star and Llama pistols. I don't think that's a "bad" deal, but you used to be able to get Spanish pistols for less a few years ago, but everything goes up.

Buy two - one to cannibalize for spare parts.

There were two left when I hit "buy" - only took 1. Looks like a guy over on Spanish Gun forum got the other one ! I probably should have added an extra mag. but I believe they are the same as my Star 30 MI so should be good.
