    Default ATF Paperwork Issues

My son Tom told me he read a post last week from a well know Class 3 Dealer. The dealer stated that he had just came out of a close door meeting with the ATF and that the ATF informed him that the laid off clerical workers,(during the shut down), were not being brought back and that the specialist who process our ATF forms were again working alone with out clerical assistants. Tom told me that was the only post that he has read about this issue. I will post more info if I find any.

Approvals may go back to a year plus now.

There are many waiting over a year now thanks to the FBI blackhole background check that are not instantly approved and sit on a desk for months.
Some get lucky and move right through, others with say a common last name or some other weird shit get blackholed. Makes it worse when they are already stamp holders from prior purchases.
Makes no sense and the FBI doesn't give shit and they are not regulated to pursue the 3 day approval like a normal NICS check.

And yet and Eform Form1 takes 2-3 weeks and goes through the same background checks, and that even with the applicant mailing their prints and photos via snail mail.
Is it the fact of electronic data entry? Wasnt the new barcode system supposed to aid in that?

As for the closed door meetings...ive seen those posts as well and have zero clue as to why the ATF would give a damn what a dealer thinks/wants to talk about. Now when manufacturers joined up with dealers and created the ASA with people like Josh from silencerco and Bryon from Major Malfunction and they were pushing HPA, or the NFATCA (cough-turn coats-cough) (which has a number of dealers/manufacturers as Board of Directors), then maybe i could see meetings happening.

I saw who originated this post on Facebook and Reddit. That person is a massive troll. That being said who knows what will really happen. Me personally I've been pushing my Form 1s to no end. Im at 3 approved and submitted 3 more today.
