Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

Re: Hawaii petitions the Fed's to modify or repeal the 2A.
I am reminded of a story:
A man was metal detecting on a beach in Cali when he dug up what looked like an old-fashioned oil lamp. On a whim he rubbed it and got the stereotypical plume of smoke, followed by the appearance of a ragged looking genie.
Genie: "Look, dude. I'm thousands of years old, I've been playing this game for too long, and I'm tired. Screw the rules, you get one wish, make it count."
Man: "Well, I've always wanted to see Hawaii, but I'm too afraid of flying. Could you build me a bridge?"
G: "Do you have any idea what goes into a project like that? You need bedrock studies to figure out where to set the supports, storm studies to figure out what kind of waves to plan for, and weatherization studies to find anti-corrosion coatings for the steel components, just for starters. Then there's pavement concerns - asphalt or cement? And interference with aquatic migration, etc. It's too much. Pick something - anything - else."
M: *after careful thought* "Hmm. I've always had bad luck with the ladies. I think I could enjoy life more if I could understand women better."
G: *pauses* "Do you want 2 lanes or 4?"

They should become part of Japan. They own most of Hawaii anyway.
Any vote for a third party is a vote for a Democrat. You are the enemy.

I remember reading something about that. There was very credible evidence that an ingredient in the sunscreen was a contributor to the destruction of coral reefs. Thus they outlawed the ingredient, but not necessarily sunscreen.
PELE DEMANDS A SACRIFICE!
Historically green cars have been very difficult to sell. For whatever reason, a green painted car does not appeal to car buyers. Oh wait, you mean 'green' cars. Unless they can figure out a way to lower their costs, gas burning vehicles will remain the most efficient.
As for 'repealing' the 2nd amendment, it is irrelevant to my right to keep and bear arms under the context, and often cited argument that the 2nd amendment grants the right to keep and bear arms. It does not. It merely restricts the government from infringing upon that right, which I received at birth. Some say the right comes from God. It doesn't matter where it came from, only that at the point of citizenship we have it as a free people. Should a rogue agent act upon that repeal- that would be grounds for war and chaos.
