Re: using non lead bullets for whitetail
I did land clearing about 20-30 years ago. After(And during) the shotgun season, we would find a lot deer under heavy thickets. The scavengers could not get to them. I think most of the birds seen feeding on dead deer are along the roads and the deer were hit by cars. I would not worry about. I live along the Lehigh river and see both eagles and vultures, sometimes floating together. The river has a lot more dangers than a little lead.
