You can buy stuff like 150gn core-lokt for $18/box pretty much anywhere right now.

Stuff like 168 GMM is down to around $28, but it was already $20/box before 2008.

Just start buying, prices might go down a little more, but not enough to matter if you're only talking about buying a hundred rounds here and there.

When I go to a gunshow , I walk thru and price anything I'm looking for like ammo , powder , primers at all tables selling it. I hate it when they don't put prices on , and I'll get someone who says he'll match a lower price if I come back and let him know. I let him know I'll buy it from the guy with the lower price.

My problem is finding the guy I want to go back to after I've perused to show. If a guy gave me that kind of line I'd just offer him a lower price that I was actually willing to pay, he could take or not.

Bought bullets (projectiles) online. Sierra .308 SMK has a 10 cents Tennessee ammunition tax stamp on the lid. First I knew of it. But components too?
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

After living through the 22LR ammo drought of 1812, I have enough of that to last the rest of my life.

I should be thinking that way about 5.56 too...

This; once bucket o'bullets dropped below $75 I started buying about one every other month.

    Now they're $59/right at 4cents each.

Anyone not wanting to relive 2012-2016 should be stocking up (not stockpiling) right now. A brick of 22 here, a couple boxes there. Don't get caught with your pants down next time.

1812? I surprised walmart didn't hire you as a greeter.
