Re: OAKS 3 Day Show MARCH 22, 23, 24 2019
That show always gives me sore feet. I got some primer tubes for my Dillon press and an ammo box and sold some hats, nice meeting all of you. Scotsguard is a heck of nice guy to chat with, nice meeting him too. The guy with the not so good ammo cans has them a $5.00 for the .50 cans and there are some suitable cans in the pile. He's all the way in the back of hall c near the wall.
ETA: Left a couple of hats with Scotsguard for anyone going Sat who wants one.Gender confusion is a mental illness

There is one in the ongoing Cordier auction that ends Sunday: https://www.proxibid.com/Firearms-Mi...ation/47074285
Currently at $800 on there which is actually over a grand with buyers premium and tax.

It looks like an Erector Set gun and if my eyes didn't deceive me the price tag on the one at the show was $1800.00

From what I've read over the years, GM made a certain amount. A lot were air-dropped meaning many went unfound and rotted or were damaged on impact. They were meant as a one-shot to get the enemy's real gun and discarded. Matter of survivors. Old antique collector saying. The damaged and ruined ones make the survivors worth that much more.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

I didn’t see the Liberator. Saw a few Pythons at the 2k mark and above which without even getting out of the case looked like they’d been used a lot.

First time for me at this show. Out east this weekend from Da Burgh so had to see the big show. Good to see a few familiar vendors there.
Didn’t see PAFOA hats must have totally missed it. Gun prices higher here than back in Pittsburgh - Mosin prices all over the map - some good prices some outrageous.
Big show and worth seeing. Great chatting with everyone there.

How did AR parts look? Were they all Chinese junk and/or overpriced?
