Perhaps because the turncoat's joining the dems against Trump's emergency declaration overshadowed it?

LOL! Well, he ignored mine as well. I think up until the Supreme Court gerrymandered a bunch of us into his district, he probably got few to no emails like the ones you and I sent. He claims to be "middle of the road", but he is far from it. Very hard left from what I can see.

BTW, when it gets to the Senate floor here are my RINO picks of those that are going to work hand-in-glove with the Democrat Senators to help gut the Second Amendment:

    Pat Toomey (PA)
    Mitt Romney (UT)
    Lisa Murkowski (AK)
    Susan Collins (ME)
    Cory Gardner (CO)
    Lamar Alexander (TN)
    Mitch McConnell (TN)
    Thom Tillis (NC)

Before the bill gets to the Senate, I wouldn't be surprised if a conveniently planned F.F. happens with a firearm that was bought face to face.
Thats been the DNC/CIA modus operandi for the last few years.

Impossible to enforce without a national database of all firearms and their current owners.

If such database legislation is passed, blame the collective 92 million firearm owners for not getting politically involved.

Just before the House vote, they brought into play one of their works in progress a little early (the apparent white supremacist Coast Guard member) with a sensationalized story of how he wanted to kill everyone and was capable of untold levels of destruction with his two firearms and 1,000 rounds of ammo. I am sure something more dramatic will be arranged for Senate consideration.

The media and the Democrats made a big deal out of the mortal danger posed by this one guy, as if they had never heard of September 11, 2001 or the Bernie campaign worker who actually tried to kill the then House leadership and seriously wounded one Congressman. Rep. Scalise was not allowed to testify in opposition to HR 8. Democrat and Deep State hypocrisy and machinations are transparent to anyone willing to observe.

You may be right. But how ironic that in TN, one of the most pro gun states in the country, that both R senators would give the leftists a victory in a ridiculous piece of legislation

When the background check fails to work it will be "strengthened" by tracking gun purchases in a database. I believe that the first slice of the banana will just be a simple Brady Check.

When the Brady Checks don't work, and they won't work, the law will be "enhanced". The Holy Grail of gun control - a gun registry - will be added to the law.

Once this is done gradual punishments to "gun owners" will be added. A sin tax per firearm owned. Mandatory gun insurance. Red Flag raids.
I'm of the opinion that "stings" are entrapment.
