As Congressional Democrats try to impose stricter gun laws, the White House has announced that President Trump would be advised to veto any gun control bills that come across his desk.

If President Trump passes any gun bills, he will loose the next election. Many people would jump off the trump train, and divide the Republican voters.

I think that the Democrats are counting on a veto. They can signal their virtue without the punishment that will follow from a "real law".

I do not trust Mr. Trump at his word. I'm a "wait and see" guy when it comes to him.
