Default PA Hunters: A Glimpse at Your Gun Controlled Future.

This is NY, but a precursor of exactly what Pennsylvania hunters can soon expect to be fighting here. Any hunter content to sit back and watch semi auto gun bans and confiscations, thinking none of it is going to impact them, and are just as happy to to see the "gun nuts" take it on the chin --- you are next. This is coming within six short years after Cuomo, the RINOS and the Democrats eviscerated the Second Amendment with the original NY SafeAct.

You kid yourself if you think the future is going to look different in PA if the ant- Constitution crowd gets any traction at all in Harrisburg this year. Below is a link to proposed legislation in NY restricting and encumbering purchases of what any hunter would consider to be a "hunting" firearm. Since the laws in NY, CA, and NJ are used as models by the Democrats and RINOs for PA proposals, you might want to be concerned. The time to fight gun control is now, and across the board.

5 hour hunter safety course, drug test, and live fire proficiency test required to buy any long gun.

Apparently owning a long gun for self defense, recreational shooting, or collecting is not acceptable any more in NY under this bill.

Does it define what the test is?

The idea is offensive, but is it you must be able to put 20 shots in 10" at 1000 yards or is it "what are the rules of firearm safety," and hitting a B-27 at 25'?

Does it matter what the test is?
The idea is to eliminate guns/hunting.

They have teamed up with our old nemesis, the Fudds.
Plenty of Pa. Fudds would sign on without complaint.
They won't kick until you can no longer buy Wild Turkey Bourbon liquor to pour down your neck whilst sitting in your deer stand.

I know, that's why I don't support the test - it's right there in my post.

I'm just curious how blatant they're being

Do they have mandatory tests and evaluations before you can write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper?
Do they have mandatory tests and evaluations before you can cast a vote?
Do you have to demonstrate you don't have sufficient room in your home else a solider can be quartered there?
Do you have to be mentally evaluated before you can invoke the 5th amendment?

No other right is treated the way the right to keep and bear arms is. These "qualifications" you must pass in New York should be an affront to every American for if one right can be treated this way, they ALL can. It's honestly disgusting it's even gotten to this point. Back in the 1790s if a politician even suggested those restrictions they would have been tarred and feathered, and mob would have burnt down their home.
