Aren't we supposed to receive notice before LTCF Expires?

Wife and I always get one in Adams Co. about 60-90 days before expiration.

No notice for me or my wife from Franklin Co. last year, but I did get a postcard from them time before that. I seem to remember they took some shit over sending "postcards" so I guess they just stopped sending notices all together.

Statute requires the sending of a renewal application, not a "reminder."

6109(f)(2)

(2) At least 60 days prior to the expiration of each license, the issuing sheriff shall send to the licensee an application for renewal of license. Failure to receive a renewal application shall not relieve a licensee from the responsibility to renew the license.

Monroe sent me a renewal application 60 days before renewal last year. My wife should be up sometime later this year so I will keep an eye out for it.

Mine expires in June. I have always gotten a notice. We'll see how it goes this year with this sheriff.

Chester County sends out a renewal application. I just fill that out head on over.

Got mine from Butler County, even though I told them I was transferring to Armstrong, and even while temporarily in FL.
