Why. Find a shop, ask for the price. Haggle if you want, some shops will, some won't.

I've only seen them for $649. I believe anything lower is below MAP (minimum advertised price), but I could be wrong.

I checked with one of my wholesalers. The minimum retail price (which is set by SIG) is $649.99 The suggested retail price is $729.00.

I haven't verified this yet but I was told a friend of mine picked one up at Cabellas last week and paid just under $600.00. I bought one for just over $600.00 6 months ago. I just kept searching the net for "best pricing of Sig M17" pistols till I found one near my budget of $600.00.
