i'm in the same boat, i work too much and earn to little so when i do shoot it's a half hour drive to empty a single magazine in order to maintain some level of supply at home.
haven't even had time to renew membership that expired in september.

Better than no wheels at all, relying on Fudd orgs like the NRA and FOAC to represent us. I don't know if there is a way to see overall subscriber numbers to these forums, but something tells me $5/month from 20% of members would go a long way.

To call FOAC a fudd organization just proves you simply are clueless! How many years have you been doing this? How much communication have you done with legislators? How many times have you heard from the very people that are making the laws that they don't want to be associated with people carrying long guns? People come to their conclusions based on their life experiences and the name calling needs to STOP. Many people you are calling fudds give more of their time in a month than most will in a lifetime...

If it were not for FOAC, we would not be as well aware of the massive number of gun control bills pushed into the Legislature this year nor would there be any perspective on them nor would anyone routinely be working to prevent their passage in the Legislature. If it were not for FOAC, just who would be stepping up to sue Peduto and the Pittsburgh City Council? Who would have laid out to that Council, in plain terms just what laws the Council was about to break and why?

god forbid they are associated with someone exercising their rights. wonder what they think about the guys that own and restore the old artillery guns and tanks. probably love to have their expertise for monuments but god forbid they own such weapons of war.

In a perfect world you would be correct. We don't have that luxury. I was at the Pittsburgh rally and have real problems with some things that I saw. There were people not showing responsible gun ownership. I could get into it but don't want to start a shit show....
