My BHP was made in 1944 under Nazi occupation so there will be no match trigger upgrades for me.

Seen several around shops and the shows. They looked OK, didn't examine them closely. You can still find surplus real ones on GB for around $500. Or refinished ones for a bit more. A FEG clone can be found for around $300. If you go the GB route make sure you read the description carefully. Try for matching numbers

You can always buy a used Browning, but the Turkish guns are usually very good.

I've been watching these. I might take a shot at one here in the future.

I picked up an Israeli Kareen at Sarco for $200 about 10 years ago. It's a good shooter, and in much better condition than most that I've seen.

Lots of wear but no rust or pitting. It ain't pretty but it works.

It's definitely not from the land of Malinois.

The Browning Hi-Power has been copied since WWII ended. They've been imported from Hungary , Turkey , Israel , Argentina , etc under several other brand names just as long.

Canada also made them during WWii as the Ingles Hi Power. When the Germans occupied Belgium, FN continued to make the Hi Power with German proof marks.

A gun shop in WV had one each blue and SS Turkish HP last week. A bit pricey at @$600 but the fit and finish seemed fine.
Unfortunately now I’m thinking my current BHP needs a friend.
I live in WV , but I visit my Mom-in-law in York PA 8 to 10 times a year. Can I get a "Tourist" visa?

One of the vendors at the Splitrock show had one of these for $519 (IIRC). It looked pretty nice.

He was over near the restrooms if anybody is interested in checking one out.
