So for the upcoming horse race it's okay to have your horse hobbled but not the bad guy's horse?

You've been there way too long.

I'm not sure if we should let you in.

I am just following the current NRA mindset here. We take away bumpstocks but get HPA, right?

    Right??

Seriously ??? No way would I ever accept that - that’s like allowing just one arm to be cut off but the other goblin guy has use of both arms

Having been a New Jersey resdent for a mere year and a half, I can identify with feelings of desperation that any improvement is still an improvement.

    Exactly.

If NJ is forced to issue carry permits, that is a HUGE victory for the 2A after decades of being told no to basically everything. Once that ball gets moving the direction of pro 2A, mag bans lifts can come later. So yes, its a odd mindset for someone who is on a PA forum, but again, NJ has never had a pro 2A victory, ever.

I would love to see New Jersey made to mimic Pennsylvania's gun laws or those of another free state. However, I think the chances of my return to freedom/Pennsylvania are far more likely than New Jersey becoming a shall issue state.
