I'd bet that Rendell signs it. He's signed all other pro-gun/carry bills before him.

I'll be looking forward to revision my off-limits sticky to remove the state parks from the list.

How long will it take for him to sign? I'm might go out to French Creek in a couple of weeks for some squirrel and I'd like to carry my Sig.

That means I won't be breaking the law when I have to walk down the towpath(Delaware Canal State Park) to go fishing. Progress is good!

See, this is why we need to get involved. All it took was for a group of citizens to express their views to the people in office who have the ability to make the changes we want. Good form everyone. Good show.

Is this the wording regarding state parks that we should be interested in?

    5......(M.2) INCONSISTENT PROVISIONS.--NOTWITHSTANDING THE
6 PROVISIONS OF SECTION 7506 (RELATING TO VIOLATION OF RULES
    7 REGARDING CONDUCT ON COMMONWEALTH PROPERTY), 75 PA.C.S. § 7727
8 (RELATING TO ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS ON OPERATION), OR THE ACT OF
    9 JUNE 28, 1995 (P.L.89, NO.18), KNOWN AS THE CONSERVATION AND
10 NATURAL RESOURCES ACT, AND REGULATIONS PROMULGATED UNDER THAT
11 ACT, A FIREARM MAY BE CARRIED AS PROVIDED IN SUBSECTION (A) BY:
12.........(1) A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER WHOSE CURRENT
13.....IDENTIFICATION AS A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER SHALL BE
14.....CONSTRUED AS A VALID LICENSE TO CARRY A FIREARM; OR
    15.........(2) ANY LICENSEE.
16.....(M.3) CONSTRUCTION.--NOTHING IN THIS SECTION SHALL BE
    17.....CONSTRUED TO:
18.........(1) PERMIT THE HUNTING OR HARVESTING OF ANY WILDLIFE
19.....WITH A FIREARM OR AMMUNITION NOT OTHERWISE PERMITTED BY 34
    20.....PA.C.S. (RELATING TO GAME).
21.........(2) AUTHORIZE ANY COMMONWEALTH AGENCY TO REGULATE THE
22.....POSSESSION OF FIREARMS IN ANY MANNER INCONSISTENT WITH THE
    23.....PROVISIONS OF THIS TITLE.
    IANAL (lawyer or legislator)...

But I have a question about the first bolded part "ANY LICENSEE". Does that mean that they're saying that you have to have a "License" to carry in a state park? Does this rule out open carry(without a license)?

Is there more to this that I am missing?

And then the second bolded part. "SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED TO...AUTHORIZE ANY COMMONWEALTH AGENCY TO REGULATE THE POSSESSION..." Is that kind of like a 'mini' preemption clause just to remind all state agencies that they are bound by preemption as well?
