Can I open carry a pistol at work at age 18

Hello all I’m trying to figure this out I’m 18 and want to be able to protect my self and others if needed. I would like to know if I can open carry at my work. I work for my uncle doing the installation of whole home generators who th means I go to peoples homes or place of business and install a generator I also go out and service the generators that are installed and some of these places aren’t the best I would like to know if there’s away I can carry while I work. You can't transport a handgun in a vehicle without a license to carry. (Except for certain narrow exceptions, none of which is "so I can open carry at work.") How are you going to get to the job site?
Besides the legal considerations, what does your uncle think? What if his customers have objections?

Keep in mind your employer has the right to not allow it and the homeowner is private property so they may say no to you also.

Since you are too young to get a LTCF, you should get yourself some police issue pepper spray.

Having a firearm will not guarantee that you will be able to protect anything, it just gives you a fighting chance when the situation would justify its use.
