The proper case for a C9 is a crown royal bag that you steal from the local bar.

I wish HF/Apache made a middle size case, like for an SBR. They jump from like a 12x18 up to the rifle size that's like 48" long.

You are in luck! For less than $30 at Harbor Freight you can purchase their Gun Case Customizer!

I looked more closely at the ad and have a question/comment. I bought the equivalent pelican case about 2 years ago so I could fly with a rifle.

The pelican has 4 padlock bosses, this case only has two.

If you can open the clasps and pry the center of the case open more than about an inch, TSA won't let you fly.

I'm not saying the case can be pried; I'm asking if anyone has one and has tried spreading the center of the case.

I don't have the rifle case but I do have an apache case that I keep an endoscope in. It's pretty stout, built well.
