    NBC news last night was very dramatic stating this is the 37th mass shooting this year so far !!! OMG, how did I miss 37 mass shootings in the past month and a half! What on God's Green Earth are they including in "mass shooting". This BS is getting waaaaay out of hand...…..

    It depends upon how you define "mass". I'm assuming that since a bullet has mass, and has been fired from a gun, it must be a "mass shooting".

    It seems that the new definition of "mass shooting" is one in which 4 or more victims are injured or killed. While in Europe, a mass shooting is where four or more are killed. Why Europe has such a low count of mass shootings. I think the FBI still defines mass shooting as four or more killed. So by the new definition, I guess there's a dozen every weekend in Chicago.

    Maybe for most states. Aurora Ohio isn't all that bad for a flat-land area.
