Default Newly acquired S&W 29-2 N 8 3/8” barrel **Updated Photos in replies**

I am quite thankful to the forum on this one. I posted a want to buy thread recently and had four members respond with a potential revolver for sale. I thank everyone that contacted me but obviously I was only after one gun. After seeing this near mint condition 77/78 example I knew it was the one I wanted. The member who sold it to me was a true gentleman and a pleasure to deal with. I only have a phone photo or two for now but plan to get a few more shots when I’m home in the daytime. Thanks for looking and don’t hesitate to put up those “want to buys”, you never know.

Now that's a real cannon with class. Pinned Barrel, Recessed Cylinder, 3T's, Red Ramp Front Sight and Factory Nickel!

That is how a gun is supposed to be made.

    Best Regards,

    Kobsw

My wife relined the presentation case with some material she had at home. This was meant to be temporary but I’m probably going to leave it like this until a more permanent solution arises.

Great gun! My brother has it's twin. If you don't mind me asking what was it worth?

Going to need to wear a pair of pants for IWB carry with this one. That damn thing would surely stick out of the bottom of a pair of shorts for sure!

    Dude,

    Nice friggin piece.

A suggestion if I may. Last week I loaded up some .357. I brought out my 6" S&W and 4" Ruger just to give them a wipe. Once or twice a year I take them over to the 50 yd range just for shits and giggles. I'm always pleasantly surprised.

So I said to myself, more 50 yd shootin this year.

Consider takin that bad boy out to 50. You may be surprised at what it can do. Hell the sight radius is almost that of a rifle, !
