    Default Pittsburgh defiance march primer.

This is just a discussion at this point. Nothing official yet. We know Pittsburgh is going full steam ahead. When they vote to pass their illegal ordinances, 60 days later they will go into force.

I intend on marching at the council building on that day in open defiance, and I will not be asking permission to do it (eg 1A permit).

I want to make it clear that the penalty if they try to enforce their illegal ordinance is nothing more than a summary offense. A lot of people incorrectly think that it would be a felony.

All of that said, anyone interested in coming along?

What's your game plan after being cited?

Well I don't think that's going to happen, but of course, I'll fight in court and sue.

ETA Such a march will likely not be required. I have a feeling the courts are going to shut it down immediately.

If I do this, I may carry my .50 Beowulf so when they cite me for the magazine, I can have it dismissed on the grounds that it's only a 10 round magazine.

I'm in. We need a similar turn out to the rally. I doubt they'll even try to cite 500 people.

I will begin firming up details about exactly WHAT the citation would be if they chose to try to enforce. What I could find so far is summary offense and no more than 1000 dollars. I don't believe they can arrest or confiscate, but I'm speaking to a local attorney that supported the 1/7 rally to confirm.

Keep in mind, you can attend this rally and NOT carry to eliminate the possibility of getting cited.

There's planning to be done and I will appreciate people's help. I'm not hard charging on it yet because nothing has been passed yet. I'm also assuming it really isn't going to get very far. However, someone did reach out to me privately with some good ideas..., like stringing crime scene tape across the portico of the building.

We could just pass a rifle and some cash back and forth over and over again and be SUPER un-grandfathered in.

What country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms!
