Between 7" and 8" for the barrel from previous posts.

I had a batch of Radical barrels from back in 2014 that needed the gas ports opened up a smidge more. I’m pretty sure I have 1 left. Time is rare these days, but if I find it (and my notes for gas port size) I could open it up and probably beat any price you’re looking at. It’s 7.5” on paper, but it’s really a 7” from muzzle to chamber. RF measured from muzzle to barrel extension end.

There really aren't very many places that carry 7.62x39 barrels - even fewer carry 7" - fewer yet have M4 profile vs HBAR.

None of the reputable places have barrels shorter than 10.5".

Palmetto State Armory is the only familiar place I can find a 7" M4/A2 profile barrel.

I've been Googling various terms and bookmarking anything I find - which is probably less than 6 in all.

What's PSA want for their barrel? KAK is pretty reputable from what I remember, not sure how good their value line is though.

$100 - same price as the KAK 8".
I got my 16" mid length 7.62x39 barrel from PSA. The only non-HBAR I ran across at the time - they no longer carry it, as far as I can tell. Paid $100 for it.

It's rare to find detailed specs on these barrels, but I found these two which have the gas port hole size listed.
    Is there a preferred size?

    7.62x39mm M4 profile 7" - Magnesium phosphate finish - $89.99
    .100"
    gas port diameter

    7.62x39mm M4 profile 7.5" - Stainless Steel - $89.99
    .094"
    gas port diameter

Most places will hog out their gas ports knowing the variation of Ammo that will be used. My KAK barrels are pretty open which was a little disappointing for me, but they’re still sitting in a box anyway. My notes say I opened up the port with a 5/64 carbide flute bit (cut through the surface treatment) and then followed up with a #44 bit which translates to .086”. They worked fine for me after that, but a smidge bigger shouldn’t be bad.

    Appreciate the input.

I hadn't replied to your post mentioning selling a barrel.
If it's not a heavy profile, I may be interested.
As mentioned, I have a heavy profile barrel on my 5.56 pistol, and I'd prefer something lighter on this one.

Haven't opened up the port yet, but might be able to today.

No rush. This will take some time to accumulate the parts.
Shoot me a pm so we can discuss.
