Default Gun Rights Emergency Allentown + PA - 2nd Amendment Supporters needed Now!

Thank you to everyone for the support !
    Please refer to post #34.

Gun Rights Emergency Allentown + PA
2nd Amendment Supporters needed Now ! Tomorrow evening, Wed March 6.

Allentown City Council has written a Resolution asking the state to pass legislation that would allow local jurisdictions to make Public Meetings and Municipal Buildings gun free zones.
This legislative effort is in direct contrast with current PA Constitutional Law.
This is WAY more than an Allentown issue. It is a PA state wide issue !

Please watch their replies to an anti-gun resident at last Wed's City Council meeting:

    Please read the Resolution.
    It's R18

    Quote:
Recommends State pass legislation that would allow local jurisdictions to prohibit firearms at Public Meetings and Municipal Buildings,
decreasing the chances of municipal workers and elected officials being shot and killed while performing their jobs.
Refer to the Agenda found here: https://lvtp.us9.list-manage.com/tra...5&e=01c0f5801d

Rarely do we have the opportunity to nip BAD Legislation right in the bud.
This is that time, before outside state forces and $$$ make this another Pittsburgh.

This is an attack on Your freedoms. We need you to prevent this from becoming law. ACT NOW !

I will be addressing city council tomorrow evening; Wed March 6.

However; my addressing the city council is not enough.
We Need Your Presence & Voice.

Join us tomorrow, Wed March 6, 2019 at 7pm; Allentown City Council

    Allentown City Hall
435 Hamilton St, Allentown, PA 18101
    (map...)

Arrive early to protect your freedom.
    And show your support by doing one or more of the following;
    • Wear Pro 2A, Pro Gun clothing.
    • Wearing your firearms openly, safely holstered on your hip. *
    • You too may voice your opinion to city council during Courtesy of the Floor.

We can all meet in the hallway outside the room; aka "Council Chambers"; at 6:30pm.
    And then enter at 6:45pm.

Please try to attend and to get your friends to attend so we can have a strong showing of opposition to government working to take the Freedoms of Citizens.
You can make a difference and together, we can beat this!

*Reminder: PA is under a State Of Emergency. You must have a valid LTCF to open carry any firearm.

PA Constitution Article 1 Section 21: “The right of the citizens to bear arms in defense of themselves and the State shall not be questioned.

This is more than an Allentown City issue.
Watching the video; you will see that council members say they are working on a resolution asking the state to outlaw firearms at council meetings.
You know they will not stop at only Allentown. They will make the law state wide.

You'd be on firmer ground if it were not for the unfortunate litigation arising out of a bad idea in a city park a while back; I'm not suggesting any tips to the anti's by providing details, but that's an example of why grandstanding is a bad idea.

Because we all know that banning good citizens from carrying firearms stops the bad guys from walking into a building with a gun.
