    Default AK 47 Buttstock

    Recently bought a Century VSKA (7.62 x 39).
Shoots well but one big drawback: the buttstock length is too short and the drop from the comb to the heel has insufficient drop.

Bore axis and top of stock needs more drop.

    Alternate stock, adapter?

Something from Magpul or a AK to M4 stock adaptor.

Aftermarket stocks such as Magpul and Timbersmith (https://www.timbersmithusa.com/produ...stock-sets.php) have offered alternative lengths, and some with more drop at the comb.

The Magpul options have a number of risers that can be added as well.

If I may chime in, I love my WASR 10/63 but am disappointed that the side mount base is slightly bowed laterally, and it just won't allow use of a scope mount.
There are two kinds of guns. Those I have acquired, and those I hope to.

If you really want to get spending look up Ace folders, they mount in a way that lets you adjust the height to whatever fits best.
